last night ever

Happy revolutionary New Year's eve from the legendary Kari's Motel!

Do you believe in faith?

When I woke up today, I was greeted by a funny little (Turkey) feather. It was the best morning ever.

One exciting Monday

Hella lot of snow today!! (Wouldn't want to be that guy pushing the bike stacked with snow for miles.)

...and even more sleepless nights as Tapaninpäivä's night arrives!

25.12.09

There's going to be plenty of sleepless nights after the Christmas eve...
ps. my lil bro isn't really that fat

23.12.09

Exactly one year ago, on this very day, I landed in the middle of Christmas, literally. I had just spent eight amazing and life-changing weeks in Africa. At the time I was really feeling homesick and I can't describe the great feeling being back home (and skipping all the dreadful Christmas hassle). When we we're in Africa with my friend Mikael (who is by the way spending his Christmas far away somewhere in Australia - merry Christmas to you!), we agreed that it's always fantastic to travel, but it's vital to have a home where to come back. It was the very same feeling I had on the 22.12.2008. Self-portrait taken at the top of Ngong Hill, nearby Nairobi.

Mr. Stylon

You can't understand how cool this guy is! You really can't.

thursday is not my favourite day anymore

For weeks, Thursday used to be the day when all brightened up; I'd see friends while riding my bmx and even take some (or lots of) alcohol in the evening. This Thursday was not one of those. Our indoor estate was under construction and thus closed. No friends from Turku or any other antistressors. In addition, it's dark as hell and cold as fuck so I had no other chance than to bore at home, just like this frog boy.

Women

Why is it impossible to act rationally with them...

15.12.09

you might guess it's cold here

(and Timo of Lapland - don't say a thing!)

atm

Too much girls showing up in one page at the moment. Let's give the turn to the boys!

13.12.09

I just had definitely one of the most bestest weekends in my whole life. It included: drinking, Turku, sweet friends, drinking, Tapio, drunken games (such as "you-be-a-professional-supermodel-and-im-the-professional-photographer" or the 2€-souvenir-game), laughing, crying, laughing my ass off, talking, drinking, dancing, hugging, kissing, nudity, car stunts, a premiere, monkey, monkeys, drinking, reserving hotel rooms and having the best time of my life.

Fuck the hook

Once again Thursday (definitely the best day of the week) arrived; and with it, came all the best things which keep my mind off all the shit: friends (lot of them this time<3), bikes, a pool and alcohol. Tomorrow in Turku. Could it be better? No.

Streets of Helsinki

They're so fascinating and baffling that it makes you take photos! That's what I like.

Let's continue with the well-proved style - shiny streets in Erottaja.

5.12.09

The shiny streets of Southern Helsinki may cause some blog oblivion.

guess who's back here again to save my thursday

For the first time in few months we actually got a glimpse of real sunshine in Finland today. Of that glimpse, I got a smaller five-minute-glimpse whilst pedaling to work. Even though it lasted just awhile, it couldn't make me more happy. It gave me hope - hope of the upcoming spring/summer days. They are coming. Slowly maybe, but still coming!

pass me the energy drink

Partying has always been a stress-eraser for me. It's a great way to clear your mind. I haven't been doing that for ages now. I've also noticed how I've become more snappy now. Maybe my body has noticed it too, because I have slept for the past nights very little by accident, as one night stayed awake is similar to 1alcohol in blood...
