Once a while I'm in desperate need of holiday from home hoods. This time I'll be spending some time at Lapinjärvi while executing my non-military service. I have to admit that this place feels more like a summer cottage than a counterpart to military service. Can't complain.

Once again, I'm going to church today. Second time in two weeks. Weddings are great! It's not going to be this awesome phallus monument in Kallio though.

Good job, soldier. Have fun. I'm definitely going to have during my service year.

Good bye heat days

Well at least I had a chance to enjoy the last bits of summery days in a superb way with a couple of pitchers of Sangria. No complaining though, rain is good also. Lovin it as long as it's summer.

Although I may hate 90% of the people here, I'm still loving the 10% and the city very much.

"Watch out that your expensive camera won't get fucked up." I promised to watch out. That's what this man said to me during one of my trips to my local Alepa. He had a walking stick and someone else did the shopping for him. One of those moments that made me glad to live where I live.

Mother's Day, yess!!

It was a fucking tornado in Helsinki today. If I wasn't still having a hangover from the Labor Day parties, I'd think it's winter. Today I also felt good of making the decision to skip the army. You guys are doing an important job, keep on going! Me = McDonald's latte inside, you = breezy day out.

Some days are just better
